Stålprofil currently employs about 20 people who develop and supply secure, durable steel profiles for public settings worldwide – from embassies in China to Scandinavium in Gothenburg.
They are a quick, skilled and reliable supplier that always has a focus on customers. They are driven by making the impossible profile possible, and by finding solutions no one believed were available. They do not follow developments – they drive them!
Stålprofil was founded in 1987 by Per-Uno Hafström in Vårgårda. Today their office and production are in Uddevalla. Several members of the family have been part of the company’s journey since then, and Stålprofil is now the perfect blend of yesterday and today – where experience and young, curious employees drive and refine their business and products together.
They have five overarching concepts to choose from: uninsulated steel profiles, insulated steel profiles (with broken thermal bridge), fire-insulated steel profiles, profiles for facades and stainless steel profiles. All are available in a variety of widths and profile depths.
Steel profiles offer many advantages. Steel partitions provide constructions with stability and have much better resistance to external impact compared with other materials. Steel is an adaptable material that can be designed to meet the wishes of the architect and customer. Their profile systems include arches, round windows and arched doors and they can use innovative solutions to adapt the profile width and depth to meet your design requirements. Steel also offers great freedom of choice when it comes to surface finish. Their profiles can be coated in any color from RAL or NCS palettes. Stainless steel profiles can also be used uncoated, which results in a classic, attractive construction design.
